A warm welcome from your host city Nottingham.

As the legendary home of Robin Hood, Nottingham is a city known around the world, but beyond the tales of our famous outlaw, it is a vibrant, forward looking destination full of energy, creativity and sporting prowess. Set in the heart of England, Nottingham provides an inspiring setting for the 2026 World Masters Ultimate Club Championships at the University of Nottingham, a world class sporting venue in a city that lives and breathes competition and community spirit.

Carved from sandstone and steeped in history, Nottingham is a place of rebels and pioneers, from literary greats like Lord Byron and D.H. Lawrence, to the birthplace of the English Civil War.

Yet Nottingham is also a modern, green and welcoming city, offering everything from Michelin star dining and buzzing nightlife to tranquil parks and historic attractions. A treasure trove for visitors to discover and explore, Nottingham truly captures the spirit of adventure, making it the perfect host for athletes and fans from around the globe.
