Putting a twist on the traditional: Nottingham’s bars and restaurants offer a unique option for hosting conferences and events

Browns Brasserie and Bar

Browns Brasserie and Bar is located on the edge of Nottingham’s city centre making it an ideal choice for those wanting to explore the culture of our bustling city. The private dining space inside this elegantly furnished venue can accommodate up to 20 guests and the team are on hand to cater to your every need. Whether it’s a five course dinner or a buffet style gathering, the brasserie and bar’s menu serves a range of traditional and homemade dishes from fresh lobster to a roast dinner, to be enjoyed alongside a collection of wines, champagne and cocktails.

If you’re looking for somewhere to host your event which is easily accessible and accommodating to those with mobility needs, then Browns is the ideal choice. The team are committed to ensuring all facilities and services are accessible to all in line with the Disability Discrimination Act 2004, this includes installing temporary mobility support in areas where the listed building has not yet implemented this.

Brown’s is a 15 minute walk from Nottingham Station and can also be reached by bus and on the NET tram network.

Revolution Cornerhouse

For those wanting to put an exciting twist on the traditional corporate event, Revolution Cornerhouse is the ideal venue. Offering a variety of packages for all occasions, this lively restaurant and bar will cater to your budget and expectations.

Revolution Cornerhouse offers private full venue hire for up to 440 guests as well as offering semi-private areas including The View restaurant space with a seating capacity of 40 and standing capacity of 60. The Mid 1 can also be hired for 30 seated and 40 standing, and the Disco Lounge can accommodate up to 40 seated and 100 standing.

Team-building experiences at Revolution Cornerhouse offer a variety of engaging activities tailored for corporate groups. Cocktail masterclasses could be the perfect way to blend creativity and learning to your next networking event. The team can also provide bespoke sessions customised to your event’s theme, including wreath making, playful art classes, and more.

Revolucion De Cuba

A blend of authenticity and entertainment; Revolucion De Cuba offers guests a taste of Cuban celebration. If you’re looking for a training space, a room to entertain guests or somewhere to celebrate a company milestone, then the private hire space, Casa De La Musica, can accommodate up to 200 delegates.

Revolucion De Cuba also offer a corporate membership ‘Amigos Club’, a rewards hub for businesses. Being a member also gives you the chance to save on you and your delegates’ food and drink.

Cosy Club

The Imperial Room is Cosy Club’s largest corporate room, accommodating up to 120 guests. The Victorian Lounge and Cocktail Bar is able to host 40 guest and the Gin Bar 30. The smallest space is the Byron Room, named after one of Nottingham’s most famous poets, with a capacity of 12 delegates, making it ideal for boardroom style meetings. This eclectic mix can be utilised for a variety of business events including cocktail masterclasses, association conferences and industry related talks.

Private areas (aside from the Byron Room) all include a private bar which can be utilised throughout your event making sure you always have a drink in hand. The rooms also feature key meeting facilities including a sound system, free Wi-Fi, a presentation screen, projector and flip chart. Space hire is free of charge; however, parties may be required to meet a minimum spend and group size.

The Magic Garden

The Magic Garden, a gorgeous town house bar and restaurant in Nottingham’s city centre, offers private spaces of varying sizes for corporate events all year round. Individually decorated rooms are available as well as each of the venue’s floors being bookable for larger events.

A rare gem of our city, Magic Garden is renowned for its exclusive back garden which can be separately hired for corporate parties. With a capacity to accommodate up to 100 guests, this vibrant space is adorned with a colourful array of flowers, creating the perfect setting for summer events. Due to its popularity, securing a booking during the warmer seasons can be challenging, as it becomes a sought-after location for memorable functions, so if you think this could be perfect for your event, we’d encourage enquiring early!

Rooms on the ground floor of the building include the Coral Room which can accommodate 16 seated and 20 standing, as well as the Palm Room which can hold 24 seated and 35 standing. The first floor consists of the Milano Room which accommodates to up to 15 seated and 18 standing. Also on this floor is the Cherry Room, a semi-private space, and the Warhol Room, each facilitating up to 15 standing and 12 seated.

At the top of the building lies the Retro Floor comprising of four individual rooms; the pink room, the lace room, the trophy room and the smoking room, each individually decorated with a unique feel.  With references to classic smoking lounges and sports clubrooms, this whole floor can be privately booked for up to 120 delegates making it the perfect space for networking events and visual exhibitions. The entire floor is equipped with its own bar and music system which can be tailored to your event or conference requirements and theme.
