New Art Exchange is a RIBA award winning building and offers a range of unrivalled creative, flexible and inspiring spaces for your special event.

The spaces can be adapted for and your guests to explore new ideas, learn together or to just enjoy time in a stimulating environment.

Location

Located just ten minutes from the city centre by tram, we have a dedicated front of house and technical team that will work with you to create a bespoke experience to your specification.

Food and catering

Our delicious world food menu is hand made in house by our Head Chef and locally sourced where possible. Our Fairtrade coffee is blended just for us from a selection of beans sourced from India, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Ethiopia and Indonesia.

New Art Exchange is the largest art centre dedicated to culturally diverse contemporary arts in the UK and also a registered charity.

When you hire one of our spaces, you will be directly supporting our work, enabling us to reach more people, in the local community and beyond.

Free WIFI throughout the building. The spaces available to hire are: Galleries The main and mezzanine galleries are available to hire for networking, product launches and larger meetings.

These spaces provide the perfect setting for your guests to be entertained and surrounded by exhibitions of contemporary art.

Performance Space

The performance space can be used for a variety of events from parties and socials to training workshops, conferences and live performances.

With a capacity of up to 90, depending on layout, the room can be set to theatre style with raked seating, banquet or cabaret style, boardroom, workshop or a completely clear space.

A large, versatile, multi-purpose space fully equipped with a projector, cinema screen, PA system, blackout blinds, lighting rig and dance studio mirrors.

The room can be arranged theatre style, with or without automated tiered seating, cabaret/banquet style or as an open space.

CaféBar

CaféBar Located on the ground floor. The CaféBar with its range of hot and cold meals and light snack and fully stocked bar serving freshly filtered coffee, tea, speciality beers, wines and spirits is a wonderful light, open space.

It is available for private hire or simply as a break out area from one of our meeting/function rooms.

Learning Room

A great space for creative thinking, directly linked to the adjoining performance space. The Learning Room is ideal for training, learning workshops, meetings and social events.

This room can also be hired alongside the performance space for registration, breakout sessions or serving refreshments. Capacity xx
